EXTERIOR PAINTING

LAVA PAINTING LLC is pleased to offer its customers an exceptional 4-YEAR warranty on its home exterior painting work. This warranty protects homeowners against defect in workmanship. Defects include peeling, blistering, chipping and other defects directly related to human error in the painting application. We will repair failed painted areas by preparing the surface the same as stated in the contract and touch-up paint the same as stated in the contract. We will repair failed or painted areas only where the paint is peeling, chipping or blistering. The paint color and sheen will not be an exact match in some areas of touch up due to aging and possible fading. We will repair failed painted areas at no labor or material cost to the client.

INTERIOR PAINTING

LAVA PAINTING LLC adheres to and follows only the best painting practices and standards. Even though our professional painters take all precautionary measures to make sure our work is not defective, sometimes defects in workmanship can happen. Such defects include peeling, blistering, and chipping that expose the substrate. To protect customers against such defects in workmanship, LAVA PAINTING warranties its interior painting work for 4 YEARS. We will repair failed painted areas by preparing the surface the same as stated in the contract and touch- up paint the same as stated in the contract. We will repair failed or painted areas only where the paint is peeling, chipping or blistering. The paint color and sheen will not be an exact match in some areas of touch up due to aging and possible fading. We will repair failed painted areas at no labor or material cost to the client.

DECKS & FENCE PAINTING/STAINING or METAL

LAVA PAINTING LLC offers a 2-year warranty against peeling, blistering, and chipping of any stained surfaces. We will repair any failed areas by prepping the surface area and touching up the failed area. It is important to keep the some old stain around for future use.

CARPENTRY AND WOOD ROT REPAIR

LAVA PAINTING LLC offers a 2-year workmanship warranty on all carpentry repairs such as siding replacement, trim installation, deck/fence reconstruction and similar work. We will correct any issues related to workmanship that ARE NOT related to the material. A fence picket that bows after 6-months is not a workmanship issue.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

LAVA PAINTING LLC limited warranty does not cover (1) peeling resulting from the breakdown of any underlying, older paint film, water damage, moisture damage, or ground contact damage; (2) peeling on any horizontal surfaces exposed to standing water such as concrete or wood porches, decks, and handrails; (3) cracks, nail pops, or imperfections in drywall, plaster, or wood; (4) chipped or cracked paint due to abuse or “wear and tear”; If house is occupied after work is completed there will be wear and tear(5) Acts of Gods (i.e. hail and/or storm damage); (6) rotted or previously partially rotted wood; (7) stains/marks from leaves or other debris that fall on surfaces leach out causing discoloration; 8) any issues that are related to house movement are not covered

WARRANTY IS IN AFFECT UPON FULL PAYMENT OF SERVICES RENDERED. IF FULL

PAYMENT IS NOT MADE WARRANTY WILL NOT BE VALID. NO REGISTRATION OF

SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED. IN CASE OF TRANSFER, WE TRACK PROJECTS BY

CUSTOMER NAME AND SOMETIMES ADDRESS.

We offer one of the longest and best painter warranties in the industry because we want to assure those who don’t know us yet, that our job doesn’t end until it’s stood the test of time.

So, what does your warranty include? For a period of four years, it covers labor and materials. That means should there be a problem, we’ll bring in the best quality painting products at no cost to you and have our expert painters do the work, again at no cost to you. We know warranties are important to consumers, which is why we offer a 4-year warranty on interior work, a 4-year warranty on exterior work, and a 2-year warranty on fences or decks (when soft washed), and metal surface work.

The best contractors are able to offer longer warranties because their expertise in painting all types of interior surfaces means the quality lasts for a long time. However, for your peace of mind, we offer a four-year material and workmanship warranty.

While it is rare, some surfaces can begin to show defects, such as peeling or perhaps even bubbling. Should this occur with any of our clients, our four-year warranty will cover fixing these problems on interior surfaces. This type of extended warranty gives our customers peace of mind and is just another reason for them to trust that we stand by our work. Interior painter warranties like this are not as common as you might think.

On exterior painter projects, we offer a four-year workmanship warranty, which is an industry-leading commitment. Should there be a defect related to our workmanship, we’ll cover the cost of the materials and labor. For fences, we offer a 2 year warranty, only when the client pays for our soft/power wash service before we apply the finished coats.

Exterior surfaces are subjected to far more harsh elements than interior surfaces, which is why using the best paint and utilizing expert techniques is a requirement on all exterior surfaces. And while Lava Painting rarely encounters workmanship issues, the most common defects are usually moisture issues that present as peeling or blistering. To put our customers minds at ease, our four-year exterior painting warranty provides all the assurances they need to proceed with a project while holding us accountable for our work.

Warranties shouldn’t be difficult to understand, but they too often are. At Lava Painting, we make your warranty period of 4 years completely transparent. That means that should peeling or blistering occurs on your surfaces because of our workmanship, we will cover the cost of materials and labor to fix the problem if it occurs within the warranty coverage period.

Our warranty is in lieu of other warranties that are implied or expressed. Furthermore, our responsibility is limited to fixing the problems related to our workmanship and not other issues outside of our control. Lava Painting is committed to solving all issues related to workmanship, which factors into how we’ve built a reputation as a customer-centric company willing to go the extra mile.

While Lava Painting is committed to fixing all workmanship problems, our warranty does have limitations. For example, Lava Painting can’t be responsible for what previous painters have done. Any surface that has been marred because of an accident or mistreatment does not fall into our responsibility. Surfaces subjected to excess moisture, harsh conditions or chemicals can fail regardless of prep work, paint quality or skill of application and is also not covered in our warranty.

Lava Painting will repair small cracks in our preparation before painting, but any cracks that occur on surfaces following our work are not covered in the warranty. Also, surfaces that are allowed to incur a buildup of dirt or any type of grime that affects the paint are also not covered in the warranty.

And while Lava Painting does plenty of prep work to ensure surfaces are ready for paint, improper drainage that allows for the buildup of rust or pooling water that impact the longevity of the paint will not be covered by our warranty.
